mixed feelings about my stay
late night noise missing toiletries
the location was excellent, placing me right in the heart of everything.
The noise was a problem as my room overlooked the bar below. It continued late into the night. i also found the complimentary cava in the minibar tasted quite unpleasant. the lack of essential toiletries like shower caps or hand creams was disappointing for a boutique hotel..

the apartment terrace was super spacious. the large modern kitchen had everything i needed. friendly staff were always available in the cafe. the restaurant downstairs was so nice!

I received a free upgrade to a suite overlooking the city. the room was spacious. i appreciated the modern kitchen. It was large. the staff were friendly.
the room was located above a cafeteria. the ear-piercing noise from the cafeteria and its toilets continued until late at night. i had trouble sleeping because of this disruptive noise.

a few issues dampened THE stay
weird smell noisy air conditioning
The room was clean, but it had a weird smell. The air conditioning WAS noisy, hard to sleep. I also noticed there weren't many tv channels available. It was frustrating that basic amenities were lacking.

poor security absent staff
the room was nice and big. drinks were included.
checking out was not straightforward and nobody was at the small reception booth. the bar staff had to stand in for hotel staff, but they were busy with customers in the bar. there was no obvious security, and bar customers used the first-floor toilets, next to the lift.

absent receptionist audible noise
The location was very central.
The check-in process was not smooth. I had to wait a long time as no one was at reception, it seems odd for a hotel, it caused unnecessary stress. I found that noise from the stairs was very audible and woke me up at night. That was not pleasant at all.

undercooked eggs noisy bar
the breakfast quality fell short of expectations for a four-star hotel. the limited choices and the noisy bar setting were not ideal. one morning, my eggs were undercooked, and a waiter spilled hot coffee. i find it unacceptable..
